Are.na Blog
DUE DATE:
Dec 3rd
(Start at beginning of semester)

DESCRIPTION:

For this assignment, you will create an are.na account that will serve as your design blog throughout the semester. A design blog is a very helpful tool for designers and creatives — for them to compile and compare potential designs, fonts, colors, and other aesthetic choices for a project. This is a useful practice to have and will help streamline and diversify your design and media skills. As well as broaden your knowledge of design and visual culture.

You will create your design blog on are.na Your blog needs to have multiple channels, a minimum of 40 images, and should include a diversity of design inspiration (including colors, fonts, project design, icons, posters, etc) I would recommend grabbing images from design inspiration websites (linked below) but you are also welcome to grab designs from anywhere (including making your own copies of old book covers, using blogs like tumblr, etc). You will need to start this near the beginning of the semester (which will also help you with your first projects) and have it completed by the end of the semester.

~ Include multiple ‘channels’. (please make sure your channels are public so I can view them.)
